UX/UI design for Macquarie's Home Loan Application borrowing power calculator
Our updated Borrowing Power Calculator is built on our OneUI Design System, using tokens and components to generate a responsive and cohesive design. I worked with our engineers, design system lead and product manager to uplift our original designs and provide an updated handover using our Design System tokenised components and ensure long-term usability of our site.
The calculator is accessible from our Home Loans page on the Macquarie website and provides an estimated borrowing capacity for applicants looking for a primary place or residence or investment property. Once a customer generates their borrowing capacity, they are empowered to apply for pre-approval or directly apply for their home loan with Macquarie.
